For years, I admired photography from afar, capturing life’s beauty without ever fully leaning into my own passion. Whether I was using a simple disposable camera, a digital one, or just my phone, I was consistently the person documenting every family reunion, every sunset, and every moment I thought worth savoring. There is a specific kind of magic in preserving a fleeting second, and I have always found immense fulfillment in saving these memories for others.

 

Everything changed in 2024 when my husband and biggest advocate, Bryan, surprised me with my first DSLR. This gift sparked the beginning of my most rewarding journey yet: the launch of Pink Hippo Photography, LLC. The brand name carries a special meaning, as hippos have been my favorite animal for as long as I can remember. Inspired by this, my daughter designed a charming hippo illustration for a tattoo, and it eventually became the heartfelt emblem of my business. When it came time to choose a name, Pink Hippo simply felt right. I believe photography is far more than just clicking a shutter. My mission is to be a reliable, communicative partner who makes every session effortless. I am deeply committed to capturing your most authentic moments in a way that provides beautiful, lasting memories while remaining accessible and affordable for your family.
